11:00Akihabara meet-up & anime district walk. Explore anime shops, figures, gacha, and doujinshi as stores open. Guide leads the way.
13:00Lunch — Akihabara / Kanda area. Anime café or local ramen / teishoku, depending on your preference.
14:30Transfer to studio — artist session begins. Meet Shinya Nishimura. Vocal coaching: pitch, breath, mic technique, and stage presence. Sing the songs you love — with the person who made them.
17:00Recording & content session. Audio, video, and photo recording. Premium: an original song verse written with your name and story.
18:30Transfer to Shinjuku — dinner. Dinner in Shinjuku near Kabukicho.

09:00Meet-up & transfer to sumo stable (Ota Ward). Pre-briefing on sumo etiquette, ritual, and history during the journey.
10:00Private training with Minami-san (~90 min). Step onto the real dohyo. Learn shiko, suriashi, teppo, and butsukari from a former top-division wrestler. Feel the philosophy of weight, breath, and stillness.
11:30Lunch — Ota Ward area. A well-earned meal near the stable. Tonkatsu or local teishoku.
13:00Ryogoku — Edo-Tokyo Museum. Immerse in Edo-period culture, daily life, and sumo history with guided commentary.
15:30Asakusa — Senso-ji & Nakamise walk. Traditional crafts, omamori, and local snacks along the iconic shopping street.
18:00Dinner — traditional Japanese restaurant, Asakusa. Tempura, sukiyaki, or unagi at a long-established Asakusa restaurant.

08:00Depart Tokyo — Shinkansen to Shizuoka. Guide briefs you on matcha culture during the ~1 hr journey.
10:00Tea farm arrival — walk & producer talk. Walk through the fields with Mt. Fuji as the backdrop. Hear from the producer about cultivation and shade-growing.
11:00Production process tour. See the steaming, drying, and stone-grinding process on site.
11:45Matcha tasting & comparison. Taste multiple grades of matcha with the producer. Explore differences in flavour, aroma, and colour.
13:00Lunch. At the producer's matcha café — matcha-infused food and sweets from the very farm you just visited.
14:30Zazen session. A meditation session, potentially held within the tea farm itself. Tea and Zen share centuries of history.
15:30Fujinomiya — shrine & temple visit. A historic shrine or temple at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
17:00Return to Tokyo — Shinkansen. Pick up matcha souvenirs before heading back.
19:00Dinner in Tokyo — Ginza / Roppongi. A premium Japanese dinner to close out a rich day in Shizuoka.

09:30Asakusa — Senso-ji Temple. A morning walk through the grounds before crowds arrive. Nakamise shopping street, traditional snacks, and omamori.
11:00Sumida River cruise. Board a river bus from Asakusa heading toward Hamarikyu. Tokyo from the water.
12:30Lunch. Local food, your choice.
14:00Yanesen walk (Yanaka / Nezu / Sendagi). One of Tokyo's last surviving shitamachi neighbourhoods — Yanaka Ginza shotengai, cat shrines, kissaten cafés, and antique shops.
16:30Ueno Park & Ameya-Yokocho. Walk through Ueno Park to Ameya-Yokocho market. Lively, chaotic, and very local.
18:30Dinner — Ueno. Yakitori and small plates at a neighbourhood izakaya.

We started OzJapwear to share the parts of Japan we love. Two years in, that's turned into a community — and this is our thank-you to it.

One of you is getting the trip. But the whole point is that we go through it together: you'll follow the winner's journey, because it's really our journey. That's the community we're building.

Who can enter?

Australian residents aged 18 or over. OzJapwear staff and their immediate families aren't eligible.

Do I get all the experiences?

You choose one headline experience — anime song, sumo, or matcha — plus two different Tokyo city tours from five themes. That's three guided days, built your way.

Do in-store purchases count?

Yes. Purchases made online and in any OzJapwear physical store both earn entries — they're all counted automatically.

How do I know how many entries I have?

You'll get an email confirming your entries after each order, and you can check your running total any time in your account.

What counts toward the $160?

Your product total in a single order, before shipping and tax. Each order needs to reach $160 to earn an entry — amounts don't carry over between orders.

What if I return an order?

If an order is refunded or cancelled, the entries it earned are removed.

How is the winner chosen?
